In the WHOLE FOODS BAR: drinking while shopping strangers unknowingly keep me company

it is funny but it is what actually happens there ime! it is a bar. first time I went, there was even a "regular." he bought the bartender a beer because the bartender had bought him a beer the night before.

the vibe i get from the bar at my local foods is definitely more people having coffee and maybe a a drink as it's fairly small and a cafe/bar rather than a bar. i do live in vancouver however which is like the worst most anemic bar culture of any city I've ever been in

I have been to Whole Foods just to drink at the bar. They have tons of special tappings. It’s a popular happy hour type bar.

There are bars at Whole foods?! I don't think there are here in MA. Huh.

coworker and I went to the whole foods bar last night. felt good. didn't dare order any whole foods bar food, though.

I have one near work that has 24 taps, I go there after work sometimes for tap takeovers (had my first Firestone-Walker Parabola there a few years ago, and Goose Island BCBS most recently).

They used to have "kill the keg" specials where kegs that were going low sold for $3 or $4 for the normal pour, but I haven't seen this recently.

Oh man I so want to get drunk in Whole Foods and cause a scene... somebody stop me

I think they're beer and wine only. But I was pretty drunk on that Firestone-Walker takeover day. I think I wandered around the store for 40 minutes afterward to sober up.

a whole foods with a bar opened about 5 mins from my house today. we checked it out tonight. i think i'll spend a decent amount of time there.

I am done drinking for awhile, and I think I will miss whole foods bar the most.
