'silence kid' by pavement has the same vocal melody as buddy holly's 'everyday.' although i don't think that's really what the thread is looking for- this is little riffs or melodies dropped or weaved in, rather than wholesale rips right? another example of that is 'i want it that way' by the backstreet boys, which is exactly the same vocal melody as bruce springsteen's 'atlantic city'
