dray really doesn't need an effective 3pt shot on this team and his 2p% and ft% are both way up this year, he's been quietly solid

k3vin k., Tuesday, 16 January 2018 05:07 (six years ago) link

oh as spottie said!

k3vin k., Tuesday, 16 January 2018 05:08 (six years ago) link

Dubs +/- matches up well with the eye test. Only Iggy, Bell and McCaw with negatives tonight. Looney has been their most effective center against teams like the Cavs & the Rox. He looks all gangly but hustles, does pretty well in PNR defense, gets boards, and doesn't try to do too much on offense. Bell could use some downers - he's always bouncing all over the place sometimes to good effect and many times not.

that's not my post, Tuesday, 16 January 2018 05:20 (six years ago) link

yeah they have different guys for different matchups. zaza is actually a pretty important role player for them.

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 16 January 2018 06:08 (six years ago) link

the clippers looked a little frisky tonight but a lot of it is reliant on lou williams briefly morphing into 2017 isiah thomas

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 16 January 2018 06:09 (six years ago) link

the cp3 trade looks kinda good for them considering the circumstances

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 16 January 2018 06:10 (six years ago) link

YES!

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 January 2018 06:33 (six years ago) link

Houston Rockets’ players James Harden, Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green pushed into Clippers locker room post-game looking to confront Austin Rivers, league sources tell ESPN. Security escorted Rockets out before anything turned physical.

the lack of respect for austin around the league is so profound

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 16 January 2018 06:35 (six years ago) link

it really is

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 January 2018 06:36 (six years ago) link

Rockets players were clamoring for Blake Griffin too, league sources said. Chris Paul also entered with other Rockers players through a backstory that connects team dressing rooms. https://t.co/BRgyHe1WgL

Here's the play where Blake Griffin went right at D'Antoni on the way up the court, going out of bounds to bump him. D'Antoni complains about it immediately. pic.twitter.com/dwZeRJlxmv

As the four Rockets were marched through the back hallway, center Clint Capela knocked on the front door of Clippers entrance, the sources said. Someone opened door, saw him standing there -- and shut it on him.

cp3 needs to filibuster, for the culture

Have been told again that all the NBA interviews with participants, witnesses will take at least two days.

Chris Paul, however, is president of the players association so he could just say he called an emergency union meeting.
