lol was just thinking of who youd want to pair with jokic in the front court and realized it was milsap, who i had forgotten was on the nuggs

malone prob shd be fired but also seems like a lot of his issues involve trying to piece together some defensively viable situation from this roster which is not easy, i mean he shd prob just be doubling down on offense and try to outscore teams tho that obvs has a ceiling and points to the limitations of their roster

if the nuggs decided to go full youth movement milsap shd be pretty movable if he ever finds health hes a v good player with only 1.5 years on that big contract... tho u need to find a team that a. wants him b. has salaries to match that denvers willing to take c. has assets theyre willing to include

which im sure was part of the reasoning to signing him to that particular contract *which also has a team option 3rd year

plumlee faried and chandler prob dead weight tho, which isnt that a big deal if they decide to go w the youth they cn just wait for them to expire

they had so many chances to move faried and w chandler when their stock was high

the harder part to figuring out their future imo is untangling the whole who is better between murray barton and harris issue and how many of them can you continue to employ and which one is which

harris is CLEARLY the best and they already locked him up, extension kicks in next season.

barton is a solid lou will / eric gordon / j crawford type. Murray is def a little hard to figure out still.

im sure theyre gonna let barton walk after this season. murray can slide into that role and hes 7 years younger and way cheaper for now.

they really just need a serviceable point guard

they chose a bad offseason to try and make a push into the upper half of the west

they mightve been ok if they had gotten anything at all from milsap

he is coming back this year you know, and they are hanging around without him

yeah they cld def make a push but theyre already 6 games back of minny and so forth, also milsap was bad when he was playing

these guys are all on rookie deals

i'm optimistic about millsap's return and am a fan of his contract

there has to be a way for the nuggs to trade some combination of barton/chandler/faried for a solid point guard

also milsap was bad when he was playing
