LeBron also gave a rather interesting response about whether or not Ty Lue would be fired because of their poor play. He said he hoped that would not be the case, but also said he doesn't really know what will happen, which isn't exactly the strongest endorsement of his coach.

"I would hope not," James said. "But I really don't know. I don't know what's going to happen with our team. I have no idea what conversations have been going on. Me personally, I've been trying to stay as laser-sharp as I can to keep my guys ready to go out and play. Obviously, it hasn't resulted in wins, but I got to stay as fresh mentally as much I can with the struggles. I can't worry about job securities and trades and things of that nature. I just stay as focused as I can every night to go out and compete and try to help us win ballgames."

Ty is toast

i sense players don't respect LeBron now bc his supporting cast is so uninspired, Kevin Love mostly excepted. the Kyrie trade and events leading up to it is gonna look even worse as time goes by, they traded a guy who was capable of taking games over for a guy who can't even take over his own hip.

tbf kyrie did force the trade and the cavs knew they were screwed saying in the media that the nets pick was the most important piece for them

it's still pretty amazing that Kyrie stepped up like that, i actually think for him to have done that put both a massive chip on LBJ's shoulder and also made the Cavs a more inviting target for disrespect. this season has been vv juicy.

listened to one of the espn reporters of this story on the radio, he downplayed its significance as mutual frustratio with a slow recovery. it sucks, but itll pass.

spurs "dynasty" is just consecutive 50-win seasons (or lockout-shortened equivalents) so i think theyll be okay on that front
