yeah i think it’s like “we’ll give this our blessing and not fight it legally, publicly, in congress etc for years”... 1 percent seems like a pittance really

that theory that the jersey patches were intended to be bought by sportsbooks all along in order to encourage a new category of in game betting was fun

i’m a little optimistic about demarcus’ recovering from the achilles only bcuz his game isn’t that predicated on athleticism and explosion. he sort of morphed it into that over time but even if he was just a bully in the post with a pretty good three point shot that’s still a really good player probably.

also i think it would be worth losing capela and ariza and whoever else to get lebron
