even if you get guys that produce the 'correct' amount for their contract that's not good enough because there are players that are worth more than a max contract and you can't really keep up with the teams that have those unless you have your own.

Biyombo doesn't seem that bad to me. He's even somewhat good at free throws. Only looking at his stats though ... can't say I've ever focused on his play.

yeah he cld def be a useful role player on the right team, that team is not orlando which is entirely comprised of player who like him cannot score

agree. but at the time it was signed he was still showing some hopeful signs. now it is obvious he's no better than a deep bench 'casualty insurance' big man, if that. he can defend post-up bigs, but he cannot protect the rim, shoot or pass well enough to be a rotation player.

the funny part is that most of these contracts were thought to be movable....like the blazers signed all those guys so that they could trade them. didn't really work out.
