I think Brad has the best taste of anyone I know. Every time he recommends an album or movie it’s amazing. If you haven’t seen his Letterboxd page it is THE BEST and he is so good at writing abt movies

I regularly reference Brad’s fav movies of all time list when I’m looking for what to watch next.

Music guys are the best about movies: the B-side-is-the-bomb syndrome affects their attitude.

The excellent and unspoken corollary here is that if Brad likes something I very much do not -- let us say, oh I don't know, Third Eye Blind, curse of the earth -- I can read his appreciation of them, disagree with it, but never once think his opinion about something I might not have heard yet is wrong or bad because of such a judgment. And that's sometimes a rare thing.

Also, having hosted him at a party at our place a couple of years ago, he's an excellent guest.
