Yeah Dantonis thing has aslways been a max 8 man rotation reg season and it drops to 7 or even 6 in the offs and they get crushed in long series

Nash just covered it up for a long time because he was a superhuman Canadian and also only played on one end

Sometimes he’s had thin rosters he’s had to max out but I think it’s just ingrained habit now

there is definitely a certain percentage of the time that players travel when they do this, but it’s pretty hard to tell in real time. the move they break down for example it’s pretty arguable whether his gather is with his left or right foot
