mostly out of laziness or ignorance, or a really unpleasantly full bladder too far from a proper facility. so I voted "to avoid frustration"

Breaking the law is the one false glimmer of hope we have left in trying to fool ourselves that we can be disobedient or rebellious while being gobbled up by the fascist capitalist death trap that is life.
Frustration it is.

Only four break the law out of frustration?! The majority does it out of nitpicking or hedonist indifference? This frustrates me even more. Brb breaking a law.
― Le Bateau Ivre, Wednesday, 14 February 2018 00:05 (six years ago) link
I voted "don't believe in this aspect" in that the law is unjust, not nitpicking. Like, supporting a homeless encampment and helping them maintain that camp because the shelters are full and/or dehumanizing isn't frustration, it's that I don't think society is supporting their need for independent housing and I don't believe in the laws that are obstructing them from living that life
"frustration" seems more like "I want to get to work faster so fuck the speed limit"
― mh, Wednesday, 14 February 2018 00:55 (six years ago) link
or, say, protesting without a permit
I think protest doesn't need a permit, I don't believe in that aspect

Same here: some laws are stupid and should be broken as protest

tbh i feel like anyone with the patience and dedication required to eke a little extra cash out of the benefits system would probably be better-advised to use their time to commit more ambitious crimes
