I'm reading the Duane Tudahl book on Purple Rain — I had no idea Morris Day is a kick-ass drummer along with everything else that's great about him.

Apparently Prince's estate has told Morris Day that he can no longer use the name "Morris Day & The Time" in any capacity. Check their Facebook page (I can't link to it) it's the latest post and publicly viewable with no account.
