I adore how shamelessly, earnestly corny/cliched this album is. Great tunes, though. Probably his best batch since "'59," or at least "American Slang."
I guess he says not to expect another Gaslight album, but really, this is close enough.

Is there any songwriter who references other songs (and songwriters) as much as Brian Fallon? I've been listening to "Sleepwalkers" a lot lately, and from song titles to song lyrics, even names of other artists, this guy is just constantly breaking the fourth wall.
