gave away the ball when Son was gearing up for his second just now

Google Atheist (Le Bateau Ivre), Saturday, 3 March 2018 15:33 (six years ago) link

Ha love to see a manager naysay an injured player in favour of subbing off a raging teammate after a half hour

When you're playing that well the opposition keep getting injured just tracking u

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 15:43 (six years ago) link

Yeah Alli has been great today.

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:12 (six years ago) link

only just just got back, thought we'd be 4-0 down by now, so some lessons must have been learned since the last game.

calzino, Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:12 (six years ago) link

Def offside too tbf

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:13 (six years ago) link

Yer looking ok calz but we are also playing well for the first time since juve

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:13 (six years ago) link

So it's been a lot of backs to the wall stuff in your box

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:13 (six years ago) link

Good goal

Google Atheist (Le Bateau Ivre), Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:14 (six years ago) link

My word

Very unlike us

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:15 (six years ago) link

Aurier consistently worries and I don't mean sheep

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:19 (six years ago) link

tidy goal, just as I got my acestream running!

calzino, Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:19 (six years ago) link

Swansea currently 13th in the table. The relegation battle this year is nuts.

groovypanda, Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:20 (six years ago) link

our next home game against Swansea is going to be a biggie for us.

calzino, Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:31 (six years ago) link

Hadj is becoming indispensable on the right for us. Tommy Smith is never getting that starting place back.

calzino, Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:35 (six years ago) link

he gets in some lovely crosses.

calzino, Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:36 (six years ago) link

Was there a bad injury in the west ham game

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:37 (six years ago) link

yeah Winston Reid went off on a stretcher

thirst trap your hare (DJ Mencap), Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:38 (six years ago) link

On current form Swansea look like a decent bet for a top half finish, which considering they were adrift at the bottom of the league not long ago would be an astonishing achievement.

Matt DC, Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:38 (six years ago) link

Shit, bad time for us to play them next.

calzino, Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:39 (six years ago) link

otm, carvalhal seems to have completely turned things around. good for them imo xp

Google Atheist (Le Bateau Ivre), Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:40 (six years ago) link

terriers did try for a spell in the second half, but it's not a whole lot on display tbh.

calzino, is mooy injured?

Google Atheist (Le Bateau Ivre), Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:41 (six years ago) link

he is just coming back from injury, so might be ready for Swansea. But Williams has been doing well, so he could be on the bench. He was a shadow of his former self before he got injured.

calzino, Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:44 (six years ago) link

A credible defeat rather than a tonking will do at this point.

calzino, Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:55 (six years ago) link

Leicester with a 97th min equaliser

nxd, Saturday, 3 March 2018 16:57 (six years ago) link

LBI that's not true, used to be loads of dutty Leeds fans in Hull before City made the top flight

There were lots in York too when I lived there. Plus I used to know one from Gainsborough (though I'll admit that's not overwhelming evidence of an East Midlands support base).

the salacious inaudible (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Saturday, 3 March 2018 17:04 (six years ago) link

Huddersfield pretty decent imo we carved them up but that was more us today than them

They looked pretty efficient on the break vs a lot of teams that can't transition at all from all out defend to hitting you

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 17:10 (six years ago) link

They've definitely learned a few harsh lessons since the home mauling against Spurs. The guy on 5 live was adamant that we didn't create anything and didn't deserve anything, which might be a bit harsh. Wagner is such a uber pragmatist he truly wouldn't have expected a positive result today. How the next 4 games go will decide our survival/relegation.

calzino, Saturday, 3 March 2018 17:16 (six years ago) link

our final run-out of fixtures are so bad, all against the top 6 I think.

calzino, Saturday, 3 March 2018 17:17 (six years ago) link

Didn't create anything is def unfair. Lloris a good save at 1-0 and davies (of all ppl) with a vital covering tackle after that.

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 17:17 (six years ago) link

That's harsh indeed, you did create some chances, first part after the break. xp

Google Atheist (Le Bateau Ivre), Saturday, 3 March 2018 17:18 (six years ago) link

Just a lovely second goal

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 18:48 (six years ago) link

'twas 'twas

Google Atheist (Le Bateau Ivre), Saturday, 3 March 2018 18:49 (six years ago) link

Jesus that's organisational cowardice right there

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 19:21 (six years ago) link

Ref and linesman deciding two nil was enough obv

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 19:21 (six years ago) link

hardly worth getting that worked up about

Number None, Saturday, 3 March 2018 19:25 (six years ago) link

That aerial challenge by Hoedt on Diouf is imo blatantly reckless and a candidate for a red

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 23:54 (six years ago) link

The second Liverpool goal from last night was glorious, I can't remember seeing a better worked team goal all season.

hardly worth getting that worked up about

Not for Liverpool. In fact the foul – which was outside the box – is just grist to our injustice mill in a moment that makes no different to the outcome of the game. But for Newcastle's rivals in the scrap, their best defender gets away with a one-game suspension. Not that I would be advocate VARing or retrospectively banning him.

Now what is that doing here

things you looked shockingly old when you wore (darraghmac), Sunday, 4 March 2018 13:45 (six years ago) link

Arsenal trailing to a Lewis Dunk goal atm.

Brighton are looking sharp.

Wag1 Shree Rajneesh (ShariVari), Sunday, 4 March 2018 13:49 (six years ago) link

7 attempts already!
