Your favourite food programmes

Because we didn’t have a thread and I wanted to post a link to this adorable 15 minute show featuring a 92 year old Japanese obāchan demonstrating Home made chirashi sushi.

NHK World has some great food shows.

Mine aren’t nearly as interesting or exotic but I still regularly watch Top Chef (this last season maybe my new favorite group, they were so cool & only minimal drama early on)

I love Great British Bake Off

Chef’s Table was v bougie but good & transporting when the subject clicked.

I’ve tried Mind of a Chef & Ugly Delicious but I cant get into them idk why

I loved Ugly Delicious.

My favourite food programme of the last few years - and one of my favourite shows of any genre recently - is Raja, Rasoi Aur Anya Kahaniyaan on Netflix. It shows how different regional Indian cuisines were influenced by their royal courts and vice versa. It’s fascinating and visually beautiful.

Japanese original version of The Iron Chef was great high viewing.

I know he's kinda cringeworthy but I still enjoyed a lot of No Reservations.

I'll watch any Mary Berry cooking show.

The GBBO Masterclasses are very calming

Keith Floyd. God I'd pay for archive access to watch all his old episodes.

A deep range of cooking shows on a Netflix type service would be an instant purchase for me, with a search by recipe option, mmm.

I was very disappointed by this season of Top Chef. I have Raja... on my list to watch.
