Whiney is often a douche and often wrong but on this he is 100% absolutely fucking right.

I'm voting Enema, but I think solid arguments exist for any of the final three. Obviously the Greatest Hits is the best single disc these guys have ever put out, but that would be cheating.

Blink-182 > Take Off Your Pants and Jacket > Enema of the State > Dude Ranch > Neighbourhoods > the rest.
and Tom DeLonge has a fucking awful voice and Mark should have been the sole lead singer.

The thing about the self-titled record is that in many ways it's a break from what they were doing before, but in another way it feels like one of those transitional albums long-running bands make where they're moving towards something that may come to fruition on the next release - only that "next release" didn't happen and they split up instead.
Yeah, I know that Neighbourhoods exists, but it's not the record I imagine the band would have made in 2005-2006.

Soon to be joining Billy Corgan on a Q Magazine list near you!
Just relistened to Enema of the State, and I'm convinced that "All the Small Things" might be the best song/single of 1999... has a catchier chorus ever been written out of 16 syllables in about 5 seconds flat? Prove me wrong.

there's a Neil Hamburger joke that I think about when I think about blink-182, and it is this:
why did blink-182 cross the road? because they saw three mirrors that they wanted to jack off in front of.
