I loved Blair so much. I couldn't help but root for her, looking like she's 12 but being so polished and smart and pleasant. Her story was heartbreaking and I felt like The Vixen and wanted to find that bastard.

I want Asia’s double take as a GIF for much future use. That was perfect.

Yeah, that lipsync was terrible.

Also, I quite like The Vixen, and I bet Eureka is annoying to be around on a day-to-day basis, but the absolute neck of her, complaining about the one person who didn't try to shut anyone else down during the Snatch Game, and who actually had a progression to her character play. Drawing the pictures and finishing up by drawing on herself was excellent comedy work, and she only didn't win because her mermaid drag was the same side-panelled body suit she has worn every week, but this time with a tail on it.

Untucked had me all-in with The Vixen. But what works in Untucked doesn't necessarily work on the mainstage, and it's unfortunate to learn that she has no alternate strategy there other than "be even more antagonistic." Look how well that turned out for Phi Phi, The Vixen.

ya I always appreciated The Vixen's honesty and even when she's hostile she's up front and relatively fair, but this week was soooooo nagl for her, like very childish and antagonistic and very much lashing out at others because of her own shortcomings. I was extremely disappointed with her behavior.

Also I think they should do "Cut To The Feeling" again because it really deserves an #iconic performance

I almost kinda wonder if they're going to have Carly Rae at the finale.

Apparently there are two very divided groups of opinion on this.

Can I just say that the most infuriating thing about this episode was using the mermaid in a wheelchair drag as a tribute to Bette Midler. The mermaid drag thing originated from Jackie Curtis in her play "Damned". Bette stole the idea from Jackie. The mermaid was played by Candy Darling in its first version then by Holly Woodlawn later. All of this is documented in the Jackie Curtis biography "Superstar in a Housedress"

Talk about not knowing your HERstory.

This show is a disgrace, an absolute disgrace.

Ok the lipsync was pretty busted, Monique blew it & even though she said she didnt quit & I know she didnt quit ... it looked like she quit AND SHE TOOK HER DAMN WIG OFF

Vixen kills me. She’s got the heart of this hurt little kid!!! she genuinely believed that them saying she should go home = they dont like her. And therefore since she doesnt *like* Eureka= SHE should go home. It’s this sensitive world where logic has no traction & its infuriating & kinda heartbreaking bcz if she doesnt get a handle on it, it WILL be her undoing. She doesnt know/get/understand that Ru doesnt watch the show, doesnt know her story, (and tbh prob doesnt remember her name). So Vixen’s outbursts make her look small & petty.

Eureka was dumb to clap back but I understand why she did. A) bcz she’s her & she doesnt know when to stfu; but b) all that ad hominem nonsense about her professionalism kinda deserved defending?
i dunno. Vixen’s like a dying star in outer space, everyone just collapses around her & feeds her with energy but they dont even realize they’re doing it

Anyway Monet’s Maya gave me liiiiiiiife & even if her stage look was weird she shoulda won bcz she did so much comedic heavy lifting. It was SO good. imho she was at a Jinx-Little Edie level awesome.

Kameron is going somehow make it into the final having spoken the least out of all of them.

This could be the red herring win, like the one Ivy Winters won right before getting kicked off.

That said, Kameron’s runway looks have been consistently very good to great, so it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if she did make it to the finish line.

I loved Ru's suit in this episode, and how he has bounced back from whatever illness he had at the start of the season. The slap challenge was one of my favourite mini challenges.

Yeah, if the follow up is, like the perfume challenge in S5, where Kameron ends up wiping out, then I expect it could also be where the currently winless Miz Cracker, much like Alaska, finally gets some wind in her sails.

Asia's lipsync was so joyful and, dare I say, delightful.

Monet could be Bob the Drag Queen level great if she just polished her look. It’s like she hurries or something, every week it’s like “OH! ...oh.” The visible tape this week majorly bummed me ouuuut bcz she was SO good as Cher. My fave by far.

In one of her recap videos, Cracker said that Kameron made a conscious decision to not give the editors anything they might use to distort her.

And yeah re Kameron, it also helps that there were such big personalities playing off each other that she could more easily hide in plain sight. That Untucked discussion this week is telling in turn.

i don't usually watch michelle's segment after the show (or that plays after the show when you watch drag race online) but the vixen came off much better in that, and looked super cute w/ some stubble to boot. this is besides the point but the vixen really should model, aside from doing drag.

in any event, i find the ongoing discussion on the show about the concept of the angry black woman to be very interesting... i wonder if there's ever been another moment in reality tv history where there was a real time on camera meta conversation about how the show might portray one its contestants vis a vis a racial stereotype, and then that discussion being aired on TV and made the dominant storyline of the season? i find it hard to call heads or tails on the vixen either way bcuz of the inherent manipulation of everything we see, but i put a lot of stock in asia's analysis of the whole situation in this most recent episode.
