well, leafs didn't have a next gear after a great 2nd period. gotta have like 2 more gears to keep up. i was really kinda rooting for them to move on, but i have the bruins moving forward on my bracket so i'm ok, personally ;) was a great series though. good hockey times.

the thing is, except for the difference in word usage, canadian hockey commentators are not good, so there's a tendency to prefer the american commentators

never heard "slapper" to my knowledge and that is a gross one. i don't have a problem with wrister, though. don't know the country of origin, but "biscuit" makes me cringe. i don't know why.

i'm assuming this is an old guy? and i assume he's referencing the glow puck thing? that was for like 2 seasons 20 years ago, buddy!

Biscuit is player slang in my experience, dunno that I've ever heard a commentator say it.

i've played for 25 years and have /never/ heard a player call a puck a biscuit. maybe is a Canadian thing? I have however tried to popularize "chicklets"

Knights/Sharks has been pretty wild so far. Not a big hockey guy but I've been digging this series a lot. This is my favorite Sharks roster in a long time.
