I heard it was quite good from a punk fan acquaintance who saw it.Viv Albertine's music memoir is great and I think the personal one is supposedly pretty intense.

Love them both, but "Cut" just a bit more. And Ari created so much more amazing music after the Slits.
And I just heard the bonus LP that came with Viv's last album, it's just as good!

Nice.
Saw the one negative review of the "Here to be Heard: The Story of the Slits" movie doc, haven't read others and not sure I can make it to Maryland tonight for the one off showing of the movie (with Q and a with the director). Just read it's on Hulu. So maybe I will watch it there some time. Also have to finish reading the Albertine memoir

Finally saw the Here to Be Heard doc and finished reading that first Albertine book. Didn't feel like Albertine was interviewed enough in the movie. The focus was on bass player Tessa Pollitt. It was a bit uneven but is still worth seeing.
