i'm the kinda person who could do a top forty ballot for just mccartney by himself. all of them together seems like it'd be REAL tough to make the cuts/inclusions, but that might make it pretty interesting!

Pre-1950s is too much music. Still suggest doing it decade by decade, though perhaps pre-1920 would be a more acceptable start than pre-1900?
