If you shut it off you probably missed the to-camera “YOU PEOPLE are the real abusers” which, I had to admire the brass balls - this movie is gonna tell me off for attempting to enjoy its story? This movie?! Like maybe if you weren’t constantly pitching at the level of “haha the fat guy is always eating, classic fat guy”

story would have been better served by a documentary but I hope TH made some scratch from it. She def earned my sympathies despite the clobbering style of the movie.

one month passes...

Planewatched this and yeah it's patchy...but the archive footage at the very end of actual-Tonya landing the triple axel was thrilling and emotional and the whole movie kind of justified itself as a build-up to that. What was even the point of the journalist character?
