Why do people leave ILX for good?

ross is trying to protagonize every thread he is on in a way that seems unhealthy and should probably be temp-banned for his own good imo.

I'd never recommend it for anyone else, but getting really tweaked on caffeine and writing a long screed that completely misses the point in the conversation, only to never open that thread again is my horrible form of catharsis

xpost A terrible place in general, yes probably, but there are dedicated threads which are treated as safe spaces and can be genuinely helpful.

This, notably, is not one of those threads.

Is all of this happening on the secret messageboard because there is a lot of peoples' reactions here that is confusing.

Also, I don't recall bullying on this website really. People seem a lot more aggro now. Except I know some of us used to follow orbit around saying "twoooooo weeks" after her posts and I think that scared her.

do you mean people's reactions to Ross' months of flying off the handle and wishing violence or death or illness on people, then saying "peace" afterwards, or do you mean Ross' reactions to people suggesting that he might be going through a tough time as evidenced by his actions

6) disgusting savages w strong opinions abt whether prawn and rocket pizza is a sandwich and how best to eat one while pooping at work

7) people oversharing and wallowing in depression drama on mental health threads

8) every time i see old posts of mine i feel like a jackass because my online persona is approx 10^6 times more argumentative, negative and obnoxious than my IRL persona and ILX doesn’t have the accountablity that, say, facebook has
