Why do people leave ILX for good?

But tbh my ilx usage has waned bc work takes up most of my time and when im not at work im enjoying my life (goin fr brewskies w buddies, making love to hunnies, and spending time on hobbies)

4) poptimists become radicalized as a result, now only listen to r&b and teenpop

idk about R&B but the big teenpop threads were a literal decade ago

and bonus multiple active threads where people complain about other people whether it's it's awful coworkers or disgusting savages or words that annoy or things that make u IA or people on facebook or any number of other complainy threads

seems like there are many and varied opportunities to complain which can create a negative effect on the general atmosphere

all these threads have existed for like a decade at least but i do think they're magnified when the world as a whole just seems awful

about the loss of communal experience I really wonder why that is, what has changed about ilx / the outer world
