Keep in mind, two nights were evacuated due to lightning so no Miguel (or DJ Snake, or Revivalists and a few others). Basically a mash-mash of soundcloud rap, DJs and pseudo-hippie folk/jjam bands. People were happy and high but I was miserable.

I've heard of maybe three acts on that lineup...

I sort of liked Too Many Zooz, Rapsody and Jacob Banks. The Polish Ambassador was silly fun (and a great name!). Vulfpeck was like if Earth Wind & Fire was a Michigan frat band. Cashmere Cat is a big name, but I didn't give a poop about his performance.

That graphic for "Aux Cord DJ'S" on Friday / day one - I'm trying to figure that out. Is that a group or are they saying that all the DJ's to the right are playing via aux cord? And that's a feature.

two English metal bands from the 1970s probably have a strong crossover in terms of listeners who would sit through both, if not in dedicated hardcore fanbase

That just like heaven festival should be called 10 year challenge festival. Most of those bands released probably their last best album in 2009.

I’d totally pay $100 to see them.

I kinda like that 10 year challenge festival idea... 2020 you get to choose a lineup of LCD Soundsystem, Vampire Weekend, Black Keys, Sleigh Bells, Caribou, Yeasayer and Deerhunter.

2021: Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, St Vincent, Girls, Destroyer, Florence and the Machine, Yuck, M83

And so on

On 2028 you get Parquet Courts, Mitski, Rolling Blackouts CF, Idles, lets eat grandma and Carseat headrest

the local media are generally unimpressed with the soul'd out festival lineup with the exception of leikeli47, i get the disappointment but the only one that really stands out is the continued inexplicable popularity of reggae mike love, who's above kadhja bonet for some reason
