the amphetamine usage doesn't bother me. sadly it's one of the few things i find remotely relatable about him (not that i have ever fucked around with amphetamines, but it's not uncommon)

trump's affection for amphetamines was well known in the 90s. i agree he is probably still taking them, speaking as someone who took similar medication for "ADD" for a long time

however, i don't think it explains much about him except maybe the weird amount of stamina he has and the rambling way he talks.

As someone with a narcissist father, let me tell you this. He doesn't need to take ANY to keep up the delusions of grandeur-level effects at this point in his life.

And that delusions of grandeur increase with age, and that also the levels of validation and attention he gets are more than anyone else in the world anyway. He don't need no drugs for any of this

Of course—I’m not saying he is definitely doing drugs. Just that *if*he is using speed at this point, 40 years after he first began taking it, and it is still affecting him in these “textbook” ways, then he is taking massive doses.
