The Chinese food place closest to my house is inexplicably closed on Tuesdays, so I had to order lunch from a different place that frequently forgets part of my order. They sent everything correctly today, though.

not sure what thread to bump so why not this one. I just learned that "Noteboom" is a real last name:
Noteboom, Notenboom and Nooteboom are Dutch surnames originally meaning "nut tree".

Author Cees Nooteboom is named every year in the lower tiers of possible Lit Noble Prize winners - due mostly to wishful thinking on behalf of the Dutch tbf. A win would cement the surname around the world tho.
