I don't know where to start with this mix. It's 95% from-vinyl, original disco releases, 12 inches and album tracks. I've listened to it so much and I will keep listening to it -- it brings me joy every time. It was originally for a pride set that didn't happen so it's incredibly uplifting and 110% gay. I love all of these songs and I finally had a reason and the inspiration to put them all together. I think every track features a diva. Loleatta Holloway, Nona Hendryx, Gwen Guthrie, etc etc.

Myself and NI of this parish supported CHIC/Nile Rodgers five years ago in Manchester, I blew the dust off the set last week and it’s here on my Mixcloud if anyone fancies an at-home disco party. Typically for us back then, it’s heavy on the early 80s as much as late 70s so plenty of ‘post-disco’ as well as some re-edits. The great man emerged from behind a curtain to take a photograph onstage with us a few minutes into Under The Indluence Of Love which was certainly the highlight of our night. Anyway...
