new one easily her best. it’s like a 2019 LES version of pop 2

I really didn't get this new one and gave up listening before the end - I was reminded of Pop 2 in its approach but it just made me want to listen to Charli XCX be properly weird instead of these watery static productions. There's a digital sheen about this, but where something like Pop 2 is futuristic and exciting, this felt plainly robotic. Really disappointing after loving other stuff she's done, "Raingurl" especially.

anyone listen? i found it kind of hard to get into

only listened once yesterday kinda passively but i really liked it

there were parts i liked a lot (title track, "passed me by"), i think i just need to adjust my expectations (i was thinking it would be clubbier and was likely in the mood for that sort of thing when i put it on)
