no biggie JF, I am highly irregular there. Though I've been the photo editor for about two years! But yeah, I go back to Freakytrigger days with SJ.

as noted above by myself and other, the SJ blurbs inclusion is mostly because - for most of these songs - there's no discussion at all! some grounding is better than none.
Incidentally, i am deeply suspicious that #64 placed this high at least partially because it was the first song on the nomination playlist... no shade, it's a great song!

I did consider including 'Shimmer' on my list after listening through to some of the playlist - didn't end up doing it, but it's very pretty.

re: this Toni song. I love that good r&b today is still powered by the same slow galloping beat Al Green was riding in 1972.

huh, the full album didn't connect with me but this single grew on me in a huge way

dj koze track isn't sad enough and is actually fairly boring. i would know b/c those #11-17 sad techno tracks are always catnip to me
