Not quite the subject of the thread, but Roger Burrows did a lot of what people are (were?) doing with processing.js in the 70s - he's written a few books and has a website that's mostly confusing: http://rogerburrowsimages.com/
I found out about him via an "Altair Design" book that passed through my hands at a book sale recently - he's worked on a lot of colouring books as well, in various patterns.

what are you guys seeing that i'm not? just looks like a series of flashing stickmen on a staircase and a stick man running in place at the right corner. there's some image shifting because of the flashing but not much else. are you seeing a continuous motion animation? is this a color vision thing?
