That's just a nice twist at the center of the album. Without it, I think the second half would just kind of drift past.

this is really great, glad I read this thread. More than anything this reminds me of Sensual World era Kate Bush (ala Never Be Mine, Between a Man and a Woman, Be Kind to My Mistakes).
