the high school teen romance set up for the TC Tuggers sketch is so perfectly filmed.

So it seems one of this show's best tricks is to suddenly reverse the peripheral "straight man" supporting/side characters into active participants in the silliness.

yeah I love this sort of thing, sketch comedy is inheritably predictable so I like that this show really isn't. though this is also sort of a Tim & Eric thing.

i liked the first season as well but returns past in season two got kinda slim i thought.

i don't know if it's the BEST sketch in the show but the nachos sketch feels like the epitome of ITYSL. also has the best tim robinson fake-flabbergasted acting.

He's really good at parodying the caught-and-bad-at-lying-their-way-out-of-it thing, yeah.

rewatching this again, its definitely hitting me now how much this show seems to be influenced by "weird Twitter" sort of humor. I know dril was mentioned upthread but it's more than that.
