hey T, i think it was almost exactly 10 years ago (not long after I started posting) that we became friends over yr former CCA prof who was always at Whole foods w/his wife, also a poetry person. ... I still see them there and think of you!

my first post was a very innocuous show of appreciation for the ilx animated film poll; this week a follow-up poll about animated series was launched so that's kind of like an anniversary

I think it was probably 2001 or 2002, probably had a different user name.

i remember getting on ilx shortly after the towers came down and being excited to have people who were talking about music

August 2001 for me, same user name always. And I still read ILX everyday.

Didn't your name used to have quotes, Christine? I remember you as one of the fellow newcomers from around the time I started posting

They had quotes back when I was manually entering my display name, back before you had to register to post.

I'll be 15 next month, I think. Was surprised to see my first post pop up here recently. Had totally forgotten that I signed on with a different user name, which I may have only used for that first post.
