i'm trying to smile. i haet passport machines. i try to pose, catch myself in the reflection and then think i look like some maniacal serial killer. this one took lots of attempts to get right. it still looks nothing like me.

i wish i still had those dungarees... i've been looking at this picture a lot recently - the pose, the angsty gripping of hair, the telephone wedged under my ear - i really haven't changed a bit.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 19:08 (twenty years ago) link

ok, how do you post pictures from friendster? i see that stevie did it...i'm sure i'm just being stupid, but i can't seem to post pictures from the online albums i've got, so friendster is like my only option.

colette (a2lette), Wednesday, 11 February 2004 13:58 (twenty years ago) link

copying and pasting the URL of the picture on your friendster profile should work, tho they may have something to block this (tripod/geocities style) as they have enough problems with images on their servers as it is it seems

stevem (blueski), Wednesday, 11 February 2004 14:00 (twenty years ago) link

To post a picture that's already on the internet, just type the url and put an i immediately before it, i.e. http://etc.

Markelby (Mark C), Wednesday, 11 February 2004 14:01 (twenty years ago) link

Gah. That was always going to happen.
http://etc.

ok, i'll see if that works. i hope it isn't huge. if it does work, it's me on new year's eve.

i might post the really strange action shot that is very unflattering but interesting to try to figure out what song i'm dancing to.

colette (a2lette), Wednesday, 11 February 2004 14:12 (twenty years ago) link

ok, although it's embarassing, guess what song i'm dancing to here...
