Except never just him, always a group of people. It's quite interesting that nobody ever just goes 'get rid of the problem poster' but always has to both sides it.

Fwiw there isn't one in French and Romanian either, so that would be my amateurish guess as well.

The cognate verb 'bannir' comes close but it doesn't serve quite the same purposes in French.
