Overlooked sophomore LPs

I know ILM is sick to death of U2, but 'October' is dope.

Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Liverpool (maybe a push to call the first album outstanding, but this doesn't deserve the kicking it gets)

Portishead, Belly and Specials are all cases of bands improving on brilliant debuts IMO.

Second albums that were really good, but not as good as the debut...The second New York Dolls album. I'm not that big a fan of Give 'Em Enough Rope myself, but most people are. I don't know if either of those qualify as overlooked. The Ramones' Leave Home definitely--great, and overlooked. I like it even more than the first.

Wild Planet is my absolute fave B's record, but I understand I'm an outlier.
