The Elbow Room on Curtain Road in Shoreditch looked really quiet when I passed by after the Cut Copy gig a few weeks back, that was a Tuesday night.

has anyone been to the PROGRESS BAR on that road that leads to the tufnell park from holloway road? is this place any good?

I have. It's alright, but you have to hire out the table for an hour (maybe £6? can't remember).

lol. this thread keeps being revived and people keep saying they're up for it but it never happeend

this was mentioned again on another thread.. i remember Dr C being up for it, and someone else?

progress bar is no more! it's now called "the tufnell". punless. i actually have membership to a rileys now. and also archway snooker club.

I think it should be in a pub in the spirit of the ILX bar billiards tournament. Advantages : get more people along, can simultaneously FAP etc etc

The Savoy Tup just off the Strand has an upstairs room with pool and darts. There's never anyone in there midweek. Sometime in early/mid Dec is good for me, but not from 18th onwards.

I have FINISHED ALL MY WORK FOR 2006 so any kind of midweek drinking is on the cards for me. I am rubbish at pool though so may just come along for the FAP.
