Had to look that up--got something similar in my e-mail. Make sure you get it right, everyone.

That was a reply to Whiney's already-answered question - your note was just a gentle tease about yr late profession.

All votes received should have confirmation emails now.

I just voted :) My lists are so weird every year. I don't know why it's so much harder for me to make a film list than an album list. Hoping to see my #1 on the list, though it's a longshot.

(xpost) That's good--I actually almost said "There will be a quiz" in my post, and was also going to mention that I should get extra credit for handing in my assignment early.

We had 32 voters for 2018, 28 last year, and 25 received so far this year. If the imagent household only files further ballots today, thta's pretty good attrition.

I was thinking of submitting a ballot, but went through the rym list and had only seen these films

Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool
Toy Story 4
The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part
Joker
Leaving Neverland
Pokémon: Detective Pikachu

I fear my short ballot would only make the list worse, but will be following the rollout to get some recommendations of better things I should be watching.

We are shortly to vote! We just watched The Forest Of Love. Quite a way to complete our voting prep

hoping my #1 will make the cut. the rest of my ballot is pretty normie, but hey, normie cinema had a pretty good year last year.

Just accepted that Color Out Of Space and Bacurau are 2020 so I'm sorry if you voted for those things, I do love them though and they were high up my ballot before I cut them

ban laggy jazzer (imago), Tuesday, 7 April 2020 20:32 (four years ago) link

And The Wild Goose Lake! All of you shall have your glory this time next year ;_;

ban laggy jazzer (imago), Tuesday, 7 April 2020 20:36 (four years ago) link

You wouldn't have been the only Bacarau voter.

donald failson (sic), Tuesday, 7 April 2020 21:16 (four years ago) link

It can wait. UK and US release dates both March 2020

ban laggy jazzer (imago), Tuesday, 7 April 2020 21:30 (four years ago) link

It's a 2019 release but whatever. I didn't see it and vote for it either

Frederik B, Tuesday, 7 April 2020 21:53 (four years ago) link

Wild Goose Lake just not among my top 35. Great colors, though. Fun use of umbrella.

Frederik B, Tuesday, 7 April 2020 21:57 (four years ago) link

hope you voted dr morbius.

I recently watched Uniform and Black Coal, Thin Ice, and am interested in seeing The Wild Goose Lake

Dan S, Tuesday, 7 April 2020 22:42 (four years ago) link

How is Uniform?

Frederik B, Tuesday, 7 April 2020 22:50 (four years ago) link

it was very low budget production but I liked the story of a laundry worker using an unclaimed uniform to impersonate a police officer.

Dan S, Tuesday, 7 April 2020 23:00 (four years ago) link

thought Black Coal, Thin Ice was really good

Dan S, Tuesday, 7 April 2020 23:09 (four years ago) link
