I don't really think he had a stroke. Just the combination of tilting that glass of water that particular day, and the ramp nonsense, was odd. Of course, he is obese and carries himself oddly, anyway, so you have to figure he's in some constant state of discomfort: back brace, plus lifts, plus tall and obese, plus diapers, plus ill-fitting suits, not to mention having a perfectly coifed hair helmet that he doesn't want to mess up that forces him to limit his own mobility to preserve said coif. Plus poor eyesight and a refusal to wear glasses, and so on ... he might be a run of the mill mess perfectly in line with many of his age, but he's a mess all the same. Mentally, I think the stuff people point to as dementia is just streams of bullshit brought on by him refusing to read or memorize or practice speeches (the unprepared book report presentation theory). If he "dominates" conversations then he controls the conversation, which means not getting called out for ignorance or inability to read.

Barack and Michelle's clothes had to be altered to accommodate vests for their inauguration walk. Right-wingers used that imagery for years as a way to call her fat and/or secretly a man. Classy!

If anything, Trump is probably wearing a Nathan Fielder chili vest that he can take a slurp from when he starts getting peckish.

he was addressing the US Military Academy at West Point and the Secret Service routinely sweeps areas where a president is about to spend time in public, so a bulletproof vest would seem to be unlikely.

"- and who is signing them? what, are they signing them at the kitchen table?" he also started saying "at the end there's going to be huge bat-" before cutting himself off.

i'm sure the takeaway will be that trump is really sweating a lot, more than i've ever seen him sweat. it's easier to talk about that then how intensely surreal and creepy it is to have a wannabe dictator openly describe his fascist plans while everyone cheers him on

People thinking Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben were both real people and founders of their respective brands is really weird.

if you watch the clip, you'll hear that she does refer to the original basis for the character/logo. but it's no less weird to think that being emancipated from slavery is part of 'the american dream'.

I actually haven't looked at the clip yet, but I have seen some poorly researched social media posts by conservatives harping on how disrespectful this is to the real Jemima & Ben.
