tbf Bobbins threads are usually house AND techno. I'm not a big techno fan either, but I could see the appeal of it on some big ass speakers.

But yeah, these threads usually abide by the "if you don't have something nice to say..." rule. It's nice to see some opinions.

These threads used to be hotbeds of opinion! But there were more posters and more of a zeitgeist at the time that I started posting.

I just don't see the harm in saying I don't like something! And then coming around and essentially posting some toughguy shit, even in jest, is far worse than saying I can't stand it.

peder mannerfelt is insane and good and not boring though imo, table you're missing out if you let that one turn you off completely.

I rarely feel negative about something I don't like. I listen to a bunch of nonsense in a record shop or online, and most of it is no good but I just see it as things that didn't really pan out and then forget about them.

I might like it another time who knows!

there's definitely bobbinsy stuff that irritates me, i get irritated by boring music. literally everything anyone posts to these threads i enjoy on some level though. the really bad boring stuff i only hear from a few local djs who think they are really hot shit. where and how do they find such crappy music? mysteries abound.

I have become allergic to a lot of the more plinky minimal stuff, and certain strains of big room techno just turn me off. I'm really into electro right now, though, so that might just be where my ears are at.

I can imagine myself dancing head down in a dark basement club to the Peder Mannerfelt so it gets a tick of approval from me
