Conley out of the bubble for the birth of his child. Thought the Jazz were going to be hard pressed to keep that series close to begin with, now it’s really hard to figure how they keep pace offensively unless Mitchell does a Dame impression

his stats don't look amazing but i did hear a few media people saying he looked better/more comfortable. i just think it has to be all hands on deck for utah at this point.

idk what changed, but conley played a lot better once he came back from a hamstring strain in january. it was mostly those first two months that were really bad.

if either team wins the series handily it will be denver but i still see a pretty hard fought 6 or 7 game series. mitchell will be the best player on the floor in at least a few of the games imo and it should be a series where gobert can stay on the floor the whole time. will be interesting to see how they deal with jokic playing out of the high post and how much that draws gobert away from the rim but there’s not many guards on denver who can put pressure on him off the dribble or on switches. i would still take denver in 6 prob but i don’t think they have an extra gear they’re gonna hit or anything.

will also be curious to see how much impact porter jr has with an above average wing defender checking him every game

Honestly don’t see the Jazz being able to do too much to guard MPJ

presumably. if porter jr blazes thru the series that would be impressive. he will no doubt get some buckets in games but i'm curious to see how he holds up w/ teams strategizing how to attack him on both ends

overall prob not an awful sign for denver that mitchell is gonna score 45 and utah still might not win. but they should figure out a way to defend him
