I mean men are sort of lucky in that generally when people look at our bare asses they are not super-invested in it being an aesthetically revelatory experience

xpost - okay, excellent

i mean semen is essentially like 90% urine and i don't think uric acid is good for skin tbh

juliette brioche (elmo argonaut), Wednesday, 1 July 2009 18:01 (fourteen years ago) link

this thread is going to turn me against the whole human body, isn't it

this is false isn't it?!!!!!!! ew

harbl, Wednesday, 1 July 2009 18:03 (fourteen years ago) link

I have good skin, but I don't really give much thought to it. Had a short period with acne in the past, don't remember it being a huge deal. Cigarettes do terrible things to people's skin. It's pretty sad when you can just look at a person's face and tell.

I wonder who his history bitches are and if they approve (Bimble), Wednesday, 1 July 2009 18:04 (fourteen years ago) link

yeah elmo i think you're doing it wrong

Crackle Box, Wednesday, 1 July 2009 18:04 (fourteen years ago) link

I think urea is actually a pretty common ingredient in skin care products Elmo.

ENBB, Wednesday, 1 July 2009 18:04 (fourteen years ago) link

yeah urine helps heal wounds actually. i heard.

harbl, Wednesday, 1 July 2009 18:05 (fourteen years ago) link

where do they get the urea for skin care products though?

i want to marry a pizza (gbx), Wednesday, 1 July 2009 18:07 (fourteen years ago) link

I heard urine was quite good for skin too :-/

Ultimately, where I stand, forgetting daily concerns of washing, getting sun, and wearing good fabrics, is that if your complexion is good save for a few hormonal quiddities, there's no need to really change much of your personal hygiene routine.

Speaking of hormones, aren't the hormones released in sex supposed to be the beneficial element? The contact itself might cause a few more spots but it's supposed to be good for the complexion (which, as established, is the main thing), isn't it?

You can also drink urine if it's fresh. But I do labor to avoid that necessity.

Semen is nothing like urine, except that they're both mostly water.

semen is mostly water + some proteins & of course some freaky gametes – no urea

kind-hearted, sensitive keytar player (Abbott), Wednesday, 1 July 2009 18:19 (fourteen years ago) link

There's a debate as to how chemically similar 'female ejaculate' is to urine, but that is a completely different topic.
