Jordan Clarkson finding his game in Utah was so unexpected for me

always liked the clarkson move

Apparently Michael Porter Jr still has drop foot. Perhaps the first nba player to play with it?
― Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, August 19, 2020 11:26 AM (two hours ago) bookmarkflaglink
never even heard of this. seems insane that an athlete has it
― Spottie, Wednesday, 19 August 2020 21:24 (three years ago) link
:( per mayo clinic:OverviewFoot drop, sometimes called drop foot, is a general term for difficulty lifting the front part of the foot. If you have foot drop, the front of your foot might drag on the ground when you walk.Foot drop isn't a disease. Rather, foot drop is a sign of an underlying neurological, muscular or anatomical problem.

I call it droppy footfooty drop

jazz haven’t missed a shot in 45 minutes
― J0rdan S., Wednesday, 19 August 2020 21:53 (three years ago) link
feel like the refs (or at least zarba) might be tiring of jokics floppy bullshit
― micah, Wednesday, 19 August 2020 22:00 (three years ago) link
There was an nfl player who was able to overcome foot drop, maybe one other athlete I’ve heard of.
― Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 19 August 2020 22:10 (three years ago) link
I think it’s also something that can go away. Anyway it’s amazing what he’s able to do with it. Wears an orthotic to correct it.
― Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 19 August 2020 22:22 (three years ago) link
cant stop watching him run now
― Spottie, Wednesday, 19 August 2020 22:25 (three years ago) link
Theis going to foul out in 5 minutes at this rate.
― trunk's full of pearl and lonestar (PBKR), Wednesday, 19 August 2020 22:52 (three years ago) link
i dont understand why theis doesnt shoot more threes when philly are leaving him wide open
― micah, Wednesday, 19 August 2020 23:00 (three years ago) link
foot drop sounds like something that should have been eradicated in the 1920s
― call all destroyer, Wednesday, 19 August 2020 23:00 (three years ago) link
That Tatum shot.
― trunk's full of pearl and lonestar (PBKR), Wednesday, 19 August 2020 23:11 (three years ago) link
I hate Colangelo.
God, for the Sixers to win, Embiid has to be the best player in the series and that's going to be tough/impossible with the way Tatum is playing.
― trunk's full of pearl and lonestar (PBKR), Wednesday, 19 August 2020 23:21 (three years ago) link
sixers def came into this game w/ a better idea of how to get clean looks but there's something poetic about them furiously trying to post their way into keeping pace w/ jayson tatum shooting pull up three pointers. 2 out of 3 possessions is a post touch for embiid, harris or horford... $90 million worth of fadeaways from the block
― J0rdan S., Wednesday, 19 August 2020 23:28 (three years ago) link
embiid just had that look like he just realized they cant win this series.
― Spottie, Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:11 (three years ago) link
celtics are good
― ciderpress, Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:11 (three years ago) link
the sixers are getting punked, even allowing for the injury this is non competitive
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:17 (three years ago) link
i just don't understand like... embiid is clearly a great player. but how in 2020 does it make sense to spend 19 seconds every possession trying to get a post touch for your center? what am i missing?
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:18 (three years ago) link
they have no shooting and brown seems incapable of adjusting
― Spottie, Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:20 (three years ago) link
This is exactly what I thought was going to happen.
― trunk's full of pearl and lonestar (PBKR), Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:24 (three years ago) link
sixers should let tatum have a few more wide open jumpers
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:41 (three years ago) link
the sixers effort on defense in this game has been absolutely atrocious
― call all destroyer, Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:41 (three years ago) link
they don't pressure the ball, they don't get set, they're walking when the celtics are running right at them. we laugh at brett brown but this is the actual fireable stuff.
― call all destroyer, Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:42 (three years ago) link
i'm like 20 minutes behind live but tobias harris just passed out of the post with kemba walker guarding him
― call all destroyer, Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:45 (three years ago) link
Brown should be fired, but I'm going to assume they're going to use Simmons as an excuse.
― trunk's full of pearl and lonestar (PBKR), Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:45 (three years ago) link
they gotta fire him eventually
― lag∞n, Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:55 (three years ago) link
if the sixers get rolled and don't play any defense everyone will understand firing him
― call all destroyer, Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:56 (three years ago) link
there's going to be a five-minute highlight reel of tatum walking into open jumpers by the end of this series
fire him after this game imo
― Spottie, Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:57 (three years ago) link
there will be a demand for change and elton brand is going to fire himself
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 20 August 2020 00:59 (three years ago) link
one thing that's becoming more obvious to me is that in addition to not getting in shape, embiid hasn't really worked on his game. his handle could be better. his post moves could be better. he could do some work to turn the ball over less.
― call all destroyer, Thursday, 20 August 2020 01:03 (three years ago) link
Nah, Brand will trade Richardson for DeAndre Jordan.
― trunk's full of pearl and lonestar (PBKR), Thursday, 20 August 2020 01:03 (three years ago) link
xp
Can't have too many frontcourt players.
― trunk's full of pearl and lonestar (PBKR), Thursday, 20 August 2020 01:04 (three years ago) link
The sixers’ two best players can’t shoot and they’re trying to d’antoni Ball. Players need to change or the system needs to change.
― Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 20 August 2020 01:04 (three years ago) link
embiid just not contesting 25 kemba pullups in a row was embarrassing
― lag∞n, Thursday, 20 August 2020 01:04 (three years ago) link
i turned on the game for about 3-4 minutes and had to flip it, sixers are unbearable to watch on a basic basketball level
― Clay, Thursday, 20 August 2020 01:29 (three years ago) link
yeah theyre not great
― lag∞n, Thursday, 20 August 2020 01:39 (three years ago) link
pretty much every decision philly made last season was cataclysmic
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 20 August 2020 01:41 (three years ago) link
if ever there was a player people need to relax about--matisse thybulle, -30, 2 points, 0 steals, 0 blocks.
― call all destroyer, Thursday, 20 August 2020 01:45 (three years ago) link
the tatum stopper
― lag∞n, Thursday, 20 August 2020 01:48 (three years ago) link
pretty much every team in the bubble is playing or has played w/o a really important player and that currently includes in the east playoffs indiana, boston, orlando, and brooklyn. and yet philly is the only team that is noncompetitive, looks like it has never practiced, has no idea what to do, nobody cares etc. the franchise needs a full overhaul, just terrible vibes.
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 20 August 2020 02:02 (three years ago) link
worst playoff vibes so far have been philly and the lakers, only three days but i'm going to enjoy these three days
― call all destroyer, Thursday, 20 August 2020 02:04 (three years ago) link
pretty reminiscent of boston last year vibe wise actually... i assume brett brown will be playing the role of kyrie irving. not sure that's gonna solve it tho
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 20 August 2020 02:05 (three years ago) link
Brett Brown was a bad coach from day 1. They kept him because all the ways he found to lose close games were actually helpful to their overall plan.
