There wasn’t really one thing...as DC said above he was just relentlessly insistently provoking ppl in the politics threads from a place of ignorance and making claims to a superior knowledge of u.s. politics. It might as well have been trolling.

This type of conduct is going to hurt not help MeToo and the larger battle. I think it's hard for Americans to grok just how much of an indelible mark their political squabbles leave on other countries, and I'm not just talking about obvious examples like Irak.

Most posters should stay out of US politics threads. Including Americans.
