Not that I expect this guy to learn from his earlier mistakes necessarily but if he shaped up in a way where he worked earnestly on carceral reform for the rest of his days, that would be something.

two and a half years later I finally saw the netflix doc and can I just say...
what was with that one attendee talking about beating up the tents around him because him and his friends didn't want neighbors
this was probs the most astonishing moment in the doc. fuck that dude. fuck all those people. it's hard not to say they deserved everything they got. this was altamont for the late-period capitalism generation.

Scummy festival scammers on this side of the pond too.
Gutted to find out @dounetherabbit has been cancelled. We were promised full payment in advance. We’ve not been paid anything. Hung out to dry like loads of others. That festival is attached to Craig Murray (his son runs it I think and he's a director?), notable Scottish nationalist zoomer, Assange apologist and Salisbury poison denier. The circumstances in which he was sacked as Ambassador to Uzbekistan are certainly worth a read.

Black Grape actually released a new album in 2017, virtually no one heard of it, and for a while I suspected it was actually a different band called Black Grape. but nah, it's them, and the record is actually pretty decent, though idk who really needs to hear a new Black Grape record right now

well except that the festival won't actually even kick off this time because nobody will let Billy Mac host it.
I am surprised that the terms of his early release didn't stipulate that he is not allowed to "pre-sell" $500 tickets for a speculative future event (or anything like that).
