the pacers-rockets part makes sense for both sides... pacers get a new oladipo on a longterm contract and the rockets get another player it can flip before the deadline

the degree to which the rockets didn’t want caris lavert is funny

Oladipo didn’t want to be there and levert is a better player (imo). Both have injury concerns.

I’ve said this before but if the chemistry is right and everyone is healthy the sky is the limit for the Pacers

With the trade, Houston will go under the luxury tax by $3.65M and hard cap by $9.95M.

Before the deal is consummated, Houston will need to waive a player (had 14 on the roster before the deal and now sending out 1 and taking back 3).

The Brooklyn Nets were always interested in acquiring James Harden but the deal became imperative in light of the situation with Kyrie Irving.
