Not sure why Cardiff would have more than one trophy, tbh.
Perhaps the Haagen-Dasz freezer is a clue. Basel?

fwiw i clipped the image of the football team and searched it; google, who must be high, said without a shadow of a doubt it was a picture of Croatian footballer Mario Brkljača, who played for Hajduk Split (a decade ago, not a century!) who play in blue and red and white.

Thats definitely weird!
Was going to go with an exterior shot but the interior of that room was too good to pass up

It has the feel of a few places I've been to in east asia, but want to note the cleanliness and the stickers on the stop sign, this does not tally at all. A stone bridge across a sizable river with single file traffic, a small red (electric?) city bus and modern non-high-rise tower blocks should be a unique combination.

it looks like a designated tourist zone in a city which doesn't see many tourists

also something very soviet about that concrete object in the foreground, might be misleading though.

Zaragoza it is - though I wondered if someone would get there via the letter Z shown on the front of the bus

Ahmedabad? Probably a bit of a wildly wrong random guess here, but that is where google image search algorithm sent me and it looks a *bit* architecturally similar to a part of the business school there!

Looks like it could be almost any American city that has some underground rail near a big parking garage, ie. most of them.
― o. nate, Monday, 22 March 2021 22:16 (three years ago) link
Multiple pedestrian signals + protected cycling infrastructure makes me think this is not just *any* American city (though the 9 story parking garage next to the transit center seems kinda suburban or urban-suburban?)

that's a us no parking sign. looks like forsythia about to bloom - google says it's in growing zones 5-9, doesn't narrow it down too much except it's not the far north. something about the size and spacing of the buildings suggests not-the-east-coast to me. brown leaves in the gutters. could be anywhere. columbus? indianapolis? omaha?
