I voted for Spiritfarer. It was the best hug simulator of 2020 in a year with very few real hugs.

Oh, I really want to play Spiritfarer, saw it a while ago and it looks like my jam. I think it's available on platforms I have but I'd spent too much on game things around the time I noticed it so couldn't justify another splash. I will definitely get it at some point.

Finding the bathtub in that virtual tour was some of the best pure gaming I've ever done.

more like tales of the voluminous draw distance fog off in the night, is vol 1 of a couple posts i could make about that one, am i right

xp i was off in another 'room' when it happened, but the dawning realizing that there were so many racks of DVD porns was incredible too

also, deep rock was totally my vote. a wonderful game to play with buds while we were all stuck at home. sadly they all started ahead of me so i had little brother vibes with them running me thru stuff/them playing their "back up roles" because they were already at the endgame... but still! great game.

one day i would love to own a system that can play microsoft flight simulator. maybe someday microsoft will become friends with apple

i always put my own ballot together without looking at the results sheet on my spreadsheet, im just not invested enough to try to shuffle things into position at least for annual ones. i've probably wanted to for console polls but never done it. however for the side polls since there's no real consensus and they're just for fun, sure i'll change my votes when someone votes for something and i'm like "oh i didn't evne think of that" (see: itchio bundle today)

I had 20 games on my ballot with 5 points each but then I removed one and gave Flight Sim an extra 5.

It fucking rules though. Being able to fly anywhere in the world in all these perfectly rendered planes is so cool.

The way it uses map data is the coolest thing in any game I saw this year.
