i am deeply here for reflective sad nite jewel - super excited for her artistically at how she's taken her core sound and driven it somewhere you wouldn't have thought it could go? listening to that first single felt a bit like watching s3 of twin peaks - the familiar made somehow strange, the denial of expectations leading to something more deeply satisfying

Actually I like the vibe of this. I wasn’t sold on the tracks that came out pre-release, but overall I think it’s really nice. A “mature” album I guess? Contemplative and all that. But still has some of her late-night grooves.
