I've long thought that 'Ghostbusters' should've been performed by the B-52's. I can hear their version so clearly in my head that it's spooky.

I've dreamed about Hendrix doing a version of "Whiter Shade of Pale" since I was a teenager. I heard him doing the keyboard part out picked on the guitar and then coming in with his laconic voice doing the vocals.
