I’ve played that Ramming Speed track quite a bit, an evergreen bargain bin staple in record shops round here.

I dug out Everlasting Fever on Friday and gave it a spin at our mainly italo-focussed night after being reminded how good it was on your mix.

Concert boy b/w Building on Land is a great single, both sides. I remember the Cube album being decent too!

I wasn't familiar with Cube until I DJ'd an empty saturday at the record store Superior Elevation followed by Jexopolis who played them.

have liked what i've heard subsequently though - they sound pretty similar to new musik i think?

not Italo whatsoever, but this was the new wave band that Paul Griffiths was in before Cube, 10CC-esque nerdy power pop, pretty cool i think?

I first heard "Concert Boy" in 2020 and it quickly became my Lockdown-Summer-Bike-Ride-Earbuds jam

Concert Boy is a total total hammer and I am now reminded I need to get it into my collection. I didn’t know the connection with Jo Squillo - the LP that track is on is pretty great.

yeah two of them i absolutely knew and have heard but couldn’t remember the artist or title. #9 was totally new to me. still the highest score i’ve ever gotten on a Blind Test video lol

Got 7.5, but was hoping for a 9 at least. It’s back to Italo school for me. Number 9 was new to me too.
